CILIP: Libraries Change Lives
21st October, London

Libraries Change Lives ran as an advocacy week in June 2024, celebrating and showcasing the profound impact of libraries. The campaign placed the library sector on a public platform, enabling libraries, staff, and users to demonstrate the value of this essential service—both locally and nationally—to future leaders.

As part of the campaign, CILIP invited libraries across the UK to share their stories of impact under key themes: a sense of place, green and sustainable practices, stronger communities, health and care, enterprise and creativity, and learning and social mobility.

On the 21st of October, a face-to-face event will take place in Parliament, where representatives and advocates from the library sector will meet with senior government advisors. Bibliotheca is proud to be the solo Technology Solution Sponsor at this prestigious event, supporting libraries in their mission to create lasting impact.

The Library Association of Ireland Public Libraries Conference:
